This course builds on intermediate level German by embedding the fundamental grammar and vocabulary taught at A Level whilst simultaneously moving away from exam preparation in favour of a focus on the language required to live and work in the German-speaking world.

About the event
This course builds on intermediate level German by embedding the fundamental grammar and vocabulary taught at A-level whilst simultaneously moving away from exam preparation in favour of a focus on the language required to live and work in the German speaking world. This course will support transitioning from A-level to undergraduate studies, applying for German work or study visas, or simply improving your German with authentic materials and exercises.
The course aligns with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and is aimed at learners who have already achieved an intermediate level in German, B1/B2. Although no official equivalency exits between English school exams and CEFR, according to the universities of Warwick and Birmingham, a high grade at A-level is approximately B2.
