I'm very happy to introduce this brand new language learning blog, which I've been working on in partnership with some amazing linguists for the last couple of months.
As language tutors, our mission is to help you achieve your language learning goals, bringing you the highest standard of teaching and truly immersive learning experiences. Our recent shift to online lessons has inspired us to find new ways to connect with learners and share our enthusiasm for languages. This is our aim for the blog!
The story so far
I'm Kate, from Petersfield, Hampshire, UK. I’ve dedicated my career to teaching languages, having worked with private students around Europe, and in 2019 I returned home to Petersfield to set up a dedicated language centre, supported by a team of experienced linguists.
We aim to promote language learning at every level through a dynamic programme of courses and activities. We offer private and group courses in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Catalan, German, French and English. All of our courses use real-world resources that help you connect with the language and culture naturally, with lessons designed to be engaging, interactive and effective!
What’s the purpose of our blog?
Since moving to online learning, we’ve been committed to continuing to provide the same level of high-quality language learning opportunities and resources to our community that we have ever since we first opened our doors. This blog is an opportunity to connect with our learners and the wider community in new ways and hear from language experts around the globe.
What will the blog cover?
I’ve teamed up with Italian tutor Irene Stoppoloni to bring you useful, practical blog content covering topics such as How to use Google Earth as a language learning tool, but that’s not all.
We plan to feature news articles and posts from expert guest writers including linguists, coaches, and language-loving friends from around the world.
Our blog will become a hub for the community, a place where we can showcase dynamic language resources and learners can find tips from our tutors, new perspectives on language learning and, most of all, motivation to continue their journey to speaking another language.
